Board of Students’ Development (BSD) – Overview
At Dnyanvardhini College, the Board of Students’ Development (BSD), a statutory body under Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), plays a vital role in nurturing the all-round growth of students. Various programs are conducted under BSD such as awareness initiatives (anti-ragging campaigns, tree plantation drives, voters awareness drive, NSS camps), the Earn & Learn Scheme, counseling, and talent recognition.
The BSD committee of Dnyanvardhini also organizes cultural fests, placement-oriented workshops, and skill development sessions on soft skills, resume building, and digital tools. It provides scholarships, insurance support, and mental health counseling to ensure student welfare.
Through these initiatives, the college fosters an inclusive and proactive student environment, offering platforms to showcase talents, engage in social causes, and thrive academically as well as co-curricularly. BSD also celebrates student achievements in academics, sports, and cultural activities, thereby shaping responsible, skilled, and socially aware graduates.
